    AS PRESIDENT, January 11, 1915, The White House Washington stationery, 7x9, to Marion J. Verdery in New York City, in full:
    I am heartily sorry you did not have a chance to stop off here and see me, but we will hit it off another time, I hope.
    The little glimpse you give me of Augusta makes me homesick. I wish that I could see all the old friends there again and see them soon.

    Archivally double-matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 13. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
