    Description

    Vintage foldout-out album of scenes along the Maine Central Railroad. Judging from pictures and locomotive, I am estimating it to be about 1885. 5 x 6 inches, it opens and folds out to 28 inches. Red binding with gold embossing. Interior has 12 pages with 28 captioned etchings of Portland, Gardiner, Hallowell, Brunswick, Augusta, Lewiston, the Androscoggin and Kennebec rivers, Waterville, Vassalboro, Lake Maranacook, Skowhegan, Auburn, Mt. Desert, Bangor and others. Not dated, but published by Chisholm Bros of Portland. Slight abrasions on cover, but inside as new. See photos.
