Listed for auction are [4] hand drawn portraits of United States Vice Presidents drawn by noted artist M. H. Herrin [1897  ?]. Herrin was an artist and autograph collector who would draw sketches
of stars, politician, etc. and send them to the
subject
to be signed. The collection includes the following, Alben W. Barkley [1877 1956] served 1949 to 1953, John N. Garner [1868 1967] served 1933 1941, Charles G. Dawes [1865 1951] served 1925 1929, and Henry A. Wallace [1888 1965] served 1941 1945.The sketches are hand drawn in pencil on a card stock which measures 9.75 x 12.00 inches. The prints of Dawes, Barkley and Wallace are in fine condition with trivial toning/wear. The Garner print has white tape affixed around the edges, with toning/wear. It is a unique collection, all hand drawn, and hand signed by the former Vice Presidents and also signed and dated by the artist.
