Theodore Roosevelt Jr. [1858 1919] was a American politician, statesman, conservationist, and writer who served as the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909. Listed for auction is a stunning display which contains a [TLS] typed letter signed by President Theodore Roosevelt Jr. The letter is typed on the letterhead of The Outlook, Office of Theodore Roosevelt and is dated May 13th, 1913. The letter is addressed to a Mrs. Opdyeke and reads as follows, I greatly appreciate the little book from ''Leonard Opdyeke's wife''. It was good of you to send it. I hope I need not say how much we enjoyed having you two out here at Oyster Bay the other night. Faithfully yours, ''Theodore Roosevelt'' in black fountain pen. The letter measures 6.75 x 8.00 inches and is in fine condition and the signature is bold and easily read. The display is stunning and has been professionally assembled as follows. The display is centered around a wonderful color photograph of Theodore Roosevelt which measures 8.00 x 10.00 inches. Mounted next to the photograph is the signed letter as described above and mounted below the letter is a professionally engraved metal plaque which contains a quote from Roosevelt and reads as follows, ''26th President of the United States of America.
