Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Signed Letter 1963 re John F. Kennedy / Autographed

Rose Kennedy typed letter signed, dated April 16, 1963, to the Kennedy's long time interior decorator, Robert T. Luddington.
The letter concerns interior decoration, and the key section is: "Would you be good enough to get a piece of floor covering for Mr. Kennedy's bedroom at the Cape - something neutral to go with his room? We like what he has here, which Evelyn said is called inlaid linoleum..."
At first glance, "Mr. Kennedy" could refer to any of several Kennedy men, all of whom had a room at both the Kennedy's Cape Cod compound, and the family home in Palm Beach. Except "Evelyn" surely refers to Evelyn Lincoln, John F. Kennedy's long time personal secretary. Lincoln was a close confidant of the president's, having worked for him from 1953, until his assassination seven months after this letter was written.
Also note that John F. Kennedy and his family were with Rose Kennedy in Palm Beach for Easter, 1963, which was on April 14.
Luddington played an integral role in the Kennedy story. From the National Park Service's website, "A History of 83 Beals Street":
"Mrs. Kennedy aimed to restore the home to how it would have looked on May 29, 1917, the day her son John was born. To direct the process she brought in her interior decorator, ROBERT LUDDINGTON, Director of the Interior Decorating Department at Jordan Marsh Company. Together they rooted through storage to find old family belongings, ordered reproductions of furniture, and advertised for antiques."
A nice historic tie-in and glimpse into the Kennedy family's life just before JFK's tragic death.
