    This is a brand-new kick start lever for the KX500 85-04. This lever will fit all years that are listed of the KX 500, some years you'll have to rotate the lever forward one tooth on the shaft coming out of the engine so it will clear your exhaust pipe. On my 87 500 I have it rotated one tooth forward on the shaft to clear my exhaust pipe and on my 2002 it fits fine in the normal location.
