The 39th Presidents signs "J Carter" in blue ballpoint to the statement, "I, Jimmy Carter, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God." Dated 20 January 1977, the day of Carter's inauguration. Document measures 5.25" x 7.875". Near fine condition. With JSA COA.
