Taggart for her confidence in his new administration and his handling of the war: “Your thoughtfulness in writing to me as you did is deeply appreciated. My warmest thanks for your expression of confidence. Best wishes to you and Tom.” The letter is one page on White House letterhead, measures 8.75 by 7 inches, created in Washington, DC, accompanied with the original White House mailing envelope, and in near fine condition.
