Description
SoundDiver is the best MIDI editor / librarian software ever made. The software was made by the company Emagic, which was taken over by Apple, and unfortunately after this happened, the software was canned, but luckily the software is very stable and it still works great!
If you are thinking about purchasing MIDI Quest, Soundiver is the way to go. MIDI Quest is developed by only one person and is full of bugs. I know, because i have tried it.
SoundDiver pretty much supports most MIDI hardware synths and FX units. Soundiver is extendable, after the software was discontinued, normal hardware owners continued to develop new "adaptations" for MIDI synths that weren't supported by the original SoundDiver release.
The software runs fine under Windows XP SP2 / SP3, Windows 2000 and some people who have purchased the software from me, had no problems running the software on
Windows 7
and a customer even got it working under
Windows 8
by running it in XP Compatibility mode.
I have been running this software on my own studio for years without any issues.. and so are
hundreds
