    Description

    A handwritten, signed note from Eleanor Roosevelt, dated April 26,1920 to my grandparents congratulating them on the birth of my aunt Katharine, who was born on April 21, 1918. The note measures approximately 8 inches by 5-1/2 inches, Has creases from being folded for 103 years, but that should be expected. There is a small tear in one of the folds which measures less than 1/2 inch. It is really barely noticeable because of its location in a crease. The note reads "
    Dear Mr. & Mrs. McCarthy - Your little card with the glad news of a new arrival reached us safely and I want to send my congratulations and good wishes for you and your husband as well a the little one - Very sincerely, Eleanor Roosevelt April 26"
