    Original sheet CCXXVI (226) panorama view of Munich (München, Bavaria, Germany), woodcut, old colored, from the German edition of Schedel'sche Weltchronik, published on Dec. 23th, 1493. Edited by the famous Nuremberg humanist and historian Hartmann Schedel. Printed by Anton Koberger in Nuremberg. With more than 1800 woodcuts, the Schedel Chronik is an important testimony to German book printing art of the late Middle Ages. The woodcuts are made by Michael Wolgemut and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff.
    Double-sided and colored city view of Munich from the Schedel Weltchronik (also called Liber Chronicarum, Nuremberg Chronicle, Chronicle of the World), sheet CCXXVI, german edition. On reverse: German text, woodcut Order of Christ, Duke Ludwig of Bavaria and two unknown woodcuts of scholars. Backside uncolored.
