    DOCUMENT SIGNED BY CALVIN COOLIDGE AS PRESIDENT APPOINTING A UNITED STATES AMBASSADOR
    Kehl (1870-1936) served as a U.S. ambassador from 1897 until his retirement in 1932.  Countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes, one page, measures 23 by 19 inches, contains the fully-intact white paper seal, created in Washington, DC on December 20, 1924, and in pristine condition.
