The kit has coupling accessories that permit the coupling of RF trace tone to large diameter pipes, bundle cables and cables enclosed in accessible non-metallic ducts. It is compatible to use with 2210,‎ 2550,‎ 2273,‎ 2573,‎ 2273M,‎ 2250,‎ 2220M,‎ 2250M locating systems. The kit withstands a wide temperature range of -4 to 122 degrees F (-20 to 50 degrees C).
