1932 Former President Calvin Coolidge Typed Letter Signed

In this straightforward thank you note, Coolidge writes
in full: "Dear Sir:- Please accept my thanks for sending me the photograph which accompanied your letter. It was very kind indeed of you to think of it. With kindest regards, I am Very truly yours".
Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933) became Vice President under Warren Harding in 1921, then rose to the presidency upon Harding's sudden death in 1923. Coolidge is remembered for his stalwart support of racial equality and his laissez-faire approach to government.
Typed on an 11" x 8 1/2" sheet of stationery imprinted "Calvin Coolidge Northampton Massachusetts".
Condition:
Mailing fold lines, letter is still adhered to a sheet from one of those ubiquitous "sticky" page photo albums. The glue from the page has migrated to the recto of the letter leaving tidy, vertical stripes. In general good condition with large, bold signatures.
